In this class we will get to know more about our Italian medieval ancestors and their beliefs. By reading the works that they left us (mostly short stories and chronicles), we will try to determine whether they were that different from us (were they at all?). Among the authors that will accompany us: Salimbene da Parma, Dino Compagni, the anonymous author of the Novellino, Giovanni Boccaccio and Franco Sacchetti.
